I’ve completed my ISO documents. Now what?

When you have completed all of your required documents - and have them reviewed by a lawyer, if possible - you will need to make 3 photocopies of every form (4 if you wish to keep a copy for yourself, which is recommended). Bring all of the documents to the administration office at the family law court nearest you. There is no fee for filing your ISO documents.

Make sure you mark your calendar with the date and time of your court hearing. It is best practice to arrive at the courthouse early. Dress neatly, and bring copies of your documents with you.

NOTE: If your ISO matter is proceeding through the ADR process, you may be asked to send or email documents directly to a court officer.
